My sister has a photoblog,
Orrdinary Life, in which she chronicles her year working in a refugee camp in Thailand. The photos she keeps posting are amazing. Check out this beetle from
today's post on bugs:

I think she's unbelievably brave to spend a year in a place where she knows nobody and doesn't speak the language, working as a volunteer in a refugee camp. No way would I do that. So color me impressed.
She's working for a group called
Right to Play, which uses sports to reach and teach kids in refugee camps good life skills. I gather she isn't working too much with the kids directly (language barrier and all), but is coordinating the staff who do.
My only complaint is that she doesn't update enough.
